It all started not too long ago with three best friends who all shared a passion, some may even call it an addiction, for real yogurt. For Laurie, real yogurt was something she discovered while exploring the world. Laurie loves traveling and discovered that real yogurt, as she had tasted in Europe, Asia, and the Mediterranean was nothing like the yogurt she grew up eating in the U.S. The taste was almost foreign to her, but she fell in love instantly. Nancy, a gourmand without any pretentiousness, fell in love with real yogurt while searching for a healthy snack for her sons. While dining one night at one of her beloved restaurants, Nancy noticed that one of the dessert items was almost made entirely with real yogurt. Knowing exactly how beneficial yogurt can be to her boys, Nancy ordered the dish and her boys loved it, just like she did. Jenny, a journalist, discovered her love for real yogurt at work. She was interviewing a celebrity and somehow the topic landed on food, yogurt to be exact. That night, Jenny found herself some real yogurt and was immediately addicted. Not too long after these experiences, the three women met up for lunch one day and realized that they all shared a love for yogurt. They immediately began discussing all the culinary possibilities for yogurt and came up with the items that now appear on tart's menu.
